This part protects one of the most exposed areas of the lower section of the bike: the clutch slave cylinder, a delicate component when it comes to rock strikes and possible chain contact during demanding offroad use.
It is made by combining high-quality machined aluminium with plastic, with an anodized surface finish that adds greater wear resistance and a neat finish in orange and black. Its design prevents the chain, in case of tearing or breakage, from reaching and damaging the engine case, while also stopping rocks from becoming trapped between the chain and the case itself, preserving the material in that area over time. It also acts as a barrier in the event of a fall, reducing the risk of damage to the clutch slave cylinder.
