This clutch slave cylinder protector is part of the PowerParts range for KTM and is designed for riders who demand real protection for their off-road machine in one of the most exposed areas of the engine, where stones, crashes and chain contact can cause serious damage.
It is machined from high-quality aluminium with an orange anodized finish, combined with plastic elements at the contact points. This construction prevents the engine case from being damaged should the chain tear, stops stones from getting trapped between the chain and the case so preserving the material, and absorbs direct impact on the slave cylinder in the event of a fall.
The photo shows a robust, machined component with the characteristic orange anodized KTM tone and a surface that combines polished areas with more matte sections, shaped to follow the contour of the engine case around the clutch area.
In daily use, this protector acts as a physical barrier that reduces the risk of costly damage to the engine case and slave cylinder, especially on routes with loose stones or technical terrain where hits in this area are frequent.
