This skid plate is part of the PowerParts range from KTM and is aimed at riders in the 85 category looking to reinforce the engine case against demanding offroad use, where impacts from stones and falls are frequent.
It is made from high-strength aluminium with a material thickness of 4 mm, providing solidity without penalizing the overall weight, as the manufacturer describes it as extremely lightweight and resistant. It mounts directly onto the chassis and is separated from it by rubber mounts, a design fitted with precision and easy to install, with top-quality finishes after being tested under the toughest offroad riding conditions.
The photograph shows an aluminium part with a metallic finish, with a wraparound shape adapted to the lower part of the engine, the rubber mounts at the contact points with the chassis and the necessary fittings for direct attachment.
In use, it protects the engine case from impacts from stones and from damage caused by falls, while the rubber mounts dampen vibrations between the protection and the chassis.

La entrega de motos se coordina directamente con el comercial durante la compra.
