The parts that make it up are manufactured from a material resistant to high temperatures, with a textured surface typical of heat shields and a shape designed to wrap around part of the exhaust pipe or silencer.
The photograph shows black parts with a matte texture and a curved shape that follows the contour of the element they protect, joined by rivets or fastening points visible on their surface.
Fitted alongside the exhaust system, it reduces heat transfer to nearby areas, protecting both the bike's components and the rider from the heat generated while riding.
