This KTM M6 range change metal nut for sheet metal is a fastening element designed to attach directly to sheet panels of reduced thickness, without needing access to the opposite side during assembly. It is a commonly used part in bodywork, fairing and bracket jobs where there is limited space to thread a conventional nut.
Its range change design allows it to adapt to different sheet thicknesses thanks to metal tabs or claws that deploy and grip the material once inserted, becoming firmly anchored before the corresponding M6 thread screw is fitted. This construction simplifies assembly into a single operation, accessible from just one side.
