This piece of rain gear for KTM corresponds to the right side of the handlebar, a component designed to protect the control area from water while riding on rainy days.
It is a side-specific cover for the right side, designed to fit the shape of the grip and lever area on that side, so that it covers the join between the glove and the handlebar without interfering with the operation of the controls.
The photograph shows a piece made of flexible, waterproof material, with a contour fitted to the shape of the grip and a finish that allows it to be stretched over the handlebar and glove to seal that water entry point.
Fitted on the right side, it helps keep the contact area between the hand and the handlebar dry while riding in the rain, complementing the rest of the rider's wet-weather gear.
