The KTM exhaust cover grille is the perforated piece that protects the outlet of the end cap, preventing direct contact with the inside of the silencer. It corresponds to the spare part with reference A60705979550 within PowerParts.
It is made from metal, with a pattern of perforations evenly distributed across its entire surface, and a dark finish that contrasts with the rest of the exhaust's metal components.
The photograph shows a round piece with multiple small holes evenly spaced, in black, fitted at the end of the exhaust end cap.
Its function is to protect the exhaust outlet against knocks and the entry of objects, while keeping the end cap's finish visible without affecting the flow of gases.
