The cylinder head is the upper part of the engine assembly within KTM's PowerParts spares range, responsible for closing off the combustion chamber and housing the cooling system at its top. It is a commonly replaced component during a full engine overhaul or when repairing the cylinder.
Its outer surface features machined cooling fins that help dissipate the heat generated during combustion, while the inner face is designed to house the combustion chamber and seal correctly against the cylinder using the corresponding gasket.

Fitted onto the cylinder, this cylinder head seals the combustion chamber tightly and helps cool the engine thanks to its finned surface, maintaining the assembly's original dimensions and geometry.
