The main silencer fitting kit is the mounting set that allows the silencer to be fitted and secured to the bike's subframe, a spare part included in the PowerParts range for those replacing or servicing the exhaust line.
It consists of the metal components needed for anchoring, with a dark finish resistant to heat and to the vibrations generated by the silencer while riding, designed to integrate with the bike's original hardware.
The photo shows a small part with a metallic, matte-treated surface, supplied together with the corresponding bolts, ready to install without machining or modifying the original mounting point.
Its function is to keep the silencer firmly in position, preventing the play and vibration that, over time and with heat, could loosen an improvised mounting.
