This plate is part of the multi-disc assembly responsible for transmitting engine power to the gearbox, and it replaces the original friction plates when they lose grip or show visible wear. It falls under the clutch components of the PowerParts range.
It is a plate coated on its inner face with friction material 3.8 mm thick, fitted alternating with the steel plain plates inside the clutch pack. The coating is designed to work in an oil bath, providing progressive and consistent grip with every pull of the lever.
The image shows a circular plate with a toothed perimeter to engage with the clutch basket, with a metallic-toned area corresponding to the steel and a darker, rough-textured area where the friction material is applied.
