This engine protection cover is a PowerParts item designed for those who want to shield the lower part of the crankcase from impacts caused by rocks, roots or knocks when riding off the asphalt. By covering the engine completely, it protects both the front area and the sides of the crankcase.
It is made of molded technical plastic, with a contour that follows the shape of the engine and reinforced mounting points at the attachment areas. The finish is matte and impact-resistant, designed to absorb hits without transmitting them directly to the engine casing.
The photograph shows a black part with a textured surface and reinforcement ribs spread across the whole cover, along with several visible fixing holes at the edges and cutouts that allow screws and chassis components to pass through.
Fitting it creates a physical barrier between the terrain and the internal engine components, reducing the risk of damage to the crankcase during enduro or trial outings on demanding terrain.
