This Quadrax M4.5 spoke nipple is a fastening part from the PowerParts range used when assembling a spoked wheel, at the point where the spoke anchors to the rim. It is a common part for anyone carrying out maintenance or replacing damaged or loose spokes.
Its Quadrax design features a square-section body at its base, designed to fit into the rim housing and prevent it from turning when tightening or loosening the spoke with the corresponding spoke wrench, unlike conventional round nipples. The M4.5 metric thread corresponds to the diameter of the spoke it is paired with.
