The KTM silencer housing is the outer cover that wraps around the exhaust body, protecting the internal sound-absorbing element and providing the visible finish of the final section of the exhaust system, within the PowerParts spare parts range.
It is a part manufactured to wrap around the silencer body, with the shape and mounting holes needed to fit over the internal structure without interfering with exhaust gas flow. Its function is both protective against impacts and scuffs and aesthetic, as it is the visible part of the exhaust assembly.
The photograph shows an elongated cylindrical housing with a dark finish and a smooth surface with almost no ornamentation, typical of a functional exhaust cover.
As a spare part, this housing allows you to replace an exhaust cover damaged or worn through use, restoring the silencer's original look and protection without having to replace the entire exhaust assembly.
