The M5X12 set screw is part of KTM's spare hardware and is used to secure parts by pressure, with no protruding head, at points where no external projection should be left. It is a common part in the maintenance and repair of engine and chassis components.
It is a headless screw, fully threaded in M5 and 12 mm long, with an internal hex for tightening with an Allen key. Once screwed in, it sits flush or below the surface of the part it secures, holding the element in place by friction or stop.
