The short kickstand is a chassis spare part designed for those who need to replace the original kickstand with a shorter one, thereby changing the bike's lean angle at rest.
It is a metal piece with the support end and the chassis anchor point, built to a robust standard designed to bear the weight of the parked bike.
The photograph shows the elongated body of the kickstand, finished in black, with the foot support at the lower end and the pivot bushing at the upper end, next to the retaining spring.
Once fitted, the bike rests at a different lean angle than with the standard kickstand, something to bear in mind depending on the bike's height and how it is used.
