This plate nut is part of the PowerParts range of fasteners and fixing elements, designed to secure body panels, plastics and protective covers to the structure of the motorcycle at those points where the sheet metal does not allow a screw to be threaded directly.
It is a metal component with a corrosion-resistant finish, compact body and a base that sits or rivets onto the sheet metal, leaving an internal threaded core that receives the corresponding fixing screw. Its design allows installation in tight spaces without special tools.
The photograph shows a small part in dark metallic color, rounded shape and flat base with a threaded central hole; the finish is matte and machining marks are visible on the surface.
It allows replacement of a damaged, worn or lost plate nut, restoring a firm anchor point for fairings, covers or fenders without the need to work on larger bodywork components.
