This license plate holder cover is the plastic piece that covers and protects the inner part of the rear license plate holder assembly, a replacement part designed for those who need to replace this element after an impact, breakage or wear from use.
It is made of injection-moulded plastic, with the shape and mounting points needed to attach to the rest of the pieces in the license plate holder, closing off and protecting the wiring for the license plate light and rear turn signals that runs through this area.

As a standalone piece within the assembly, replacing it restores the original look and protection of this rear area of the bike without needing to change the entire license plate holder.
