This lower triple clamp, in orange, is a component from the PowerParts range that replaces the standard part in the lower yoke area, joining the fork legs to the steering head.
It is a precision-machined part, with the housings for the fork tubes and the steering shaft perfectly calibrated, along with the necessary clamping points to secure the assembly with the correct torque. The orange colour, applied through anodising or painting, matches KTM's characteristic colour palette.
The photograph shows a surface with a uniform matte finish, the three circular bores for the fork tubes and the central steering shaft, along with the cutouts and lightening features typical of this type of triple clamp.
Being a lower component, it directly bears the braking forces and the loads transmitted by the fork, so replacing it restores the original geometry and rigidity of the front end.
