This brake caliper support integrates a disc guard in a single piece, a component designed for those who push their bike hard on track or off-road and want to reinforce the front brake area against knocks and falls. It falls within KTM's brake parts and protection range.
The assembly combines the metal bracket that fixes the brake caliper to the fork leg with a plate that acts as a guard, partially covering the disc to prevent stones, branches or the ground itself from damaging it in a fall. This integrated solution reduces the number of separate parts in the front wheel area.
The photograph shows an angular-profiled, black part, with the machined section for the caliper mount at one end and the disc guard extension at the other, complete with the corresponding mounting holes.
Once fitted, it provides direct protection for the brake disc during demanding riding, reducing the risk of a side impact affecting the braking system's operation.
