The KTM spark arrestor retaining ring is a small part designed to hold this element in position within the exhaust system, commonly used on off-road bikes fitted with a spark arrestor to limit the emission of glowing particles.
It is an annular metal component, sized to fit around the spark arrestor and hold it firmly in its housing inside the silencer, preventing it from shifting due to engine vibration.
