This 1/4 inch clutch coupling, model PLCD 170-05 V, is a quick-connect fitting from the KTM spare parts catalogue aimed at workshop use, used to easily connect and disconnect a line in the clutch circuit or related tools without needing additional tools.
It comes as a metal-bodied coupling with a push-type quick-connect mechanism, allowing the corresponding tube to be inserted and released with a simple action, keeping the circuit closed and leak-free while coupled.
The photo shows a piece with a bright metallic finish, with a cylindrical body featuring a 1/4 inch threaded end and the other end set up for quick tube insertion, with the PLCD 170-05 V reference identifiable on the body of the part.
In workshop use, this coupling speeds up connecting and disconnecting the circuit it is fitted to, making it easier to bleed or handle the clutch line without resorting to clamps or conventional threaded joints.
