This KTM headlight protector is designed for those who ride off-road and want to keep the front light unit intact against impacts from stones, branches or minor spills. It belongs to the range of front protection accessories for the ADVENTURE family of motorcycles.
It is made from Makrolon, the same material currently used on KTM Factory Rally competition bikes. This high-strength polycarbonate offers far greater stability than conventional plastic: the part is virtually unbreakable and, should it ever crack, the material does not shatter into pieces, preventing shards from damaging the headlight area.
The photo shows a curved panel that follows the contour of the headlight, transparent in colour with a smooth finish and no printed graphics. Being colourless, the piece is practically unnoticeable once fitted.
Thanks to this transparency, the protector respects the motorcycle's original design without adding bulk or breaking up the line of the headlight, while shielding it from the knocks typical of riding on gravel tracks and trails.
