This KTM engine guard covers the sump and exhaust header, two points that are especially exposed in off-road use or on loose-gravel tracks, typical of smaller-capacity adventure bikes.
It is made from high-strength aluminium, with a careful finish that gives the part a uniform surface. It carries EC-V approval and offers, according to the manufacturer, optimum protection against stone impact and against the damage caused by a fall.
The photograph shows a metal part in an aluminium tone, with a robust shape that adapts to the lower contour of the engine and features visible reinforcements in its structure.
Thanks to its aluminium construction, it absorbs direct impacts without deforming easily, preventing the sump or exhaust header from being damaged when riding on tracks or after a fall.
