This engine guard from the PowerParts range is aimed at those who ride their KTM 790/890 Adventure on tracks and trails where the sump and exhaust header are exposed to stone strikes and the risks of a fall.
It is made from high-strength aluminium, with a natural untreated finish that reveals the texture of the machined metal. Its construction offers optimal protection over the sump and header, covering the lower area of the engine against stone impacts and fall-related damage, and it is compatible with fitting a centre stand. It includes HOMNN_EU approval.
The photograph shows an aluminium part in a natural silver tone, with a textured surface typical of machining, straight and curved profiles that wrap around the lower part of the engine, and several visible mounting points.
In use, it provides a sturdy barrier across the lowest, most exposed area of the engine, reducing the risk of damage to the sump and header during rides over rough terrain.
