The KTM Helmet Lock is an accessory designed for riders who need to secure their helmet to the bike quickly without relying on a separate padlock. It belongs to the PowerParts range of security accessories and comes in handy for short stops, at work or on any trip where you don't want to carry the helmet around.
The system stores under the seat when not in use, so it stays tucked away and out of sight on the bike. To prevent damage and wear during handling, it features a silicone coating that protects both the piece itself and the contact surface with the helmet. No additional padlock is required, as the locking mechanism is built into the unit itself.
The photo shows a flexible, silicone-coated cable in a dark colour, with one end designed to hook onto the helmet and the other to attach to the bike, finished in a matte look and compact in size, made to be easily stored under the seat.
In daily use it lets you leave the helmet secured to the motorcycle without needing an extra padlock or a place to store one, and the silicone coating keeps the cable from marking or wearing down the helmet through friction. It carries HOMNN_EU approval.
