This handguard kit is a protective component from the KTM PowerParts range, designed for riders who spend time on the road but also venture onto offroad and supermoto tracks, where hands and brake and clutch levers are exposed to wind, rain, flying stones and branch strikes.
The construction relies on a sturdy aluminium mounting bracket that supports the handguard body and absorbs impact in the event of a fall, preventing lever breakage. The design is wide and generous, conceived to cover a good part of the hand and act as an effective barrier against the elements on long rides. The set carries HOMNN_EU approval.
In the photograph the handguard is shown in a ceramic white finish, with a smooth surface and clean lines, and the metal bracket visible underneath, sturdy and functional in appearance, ready to integrate with the rest of the bike's bodywork.
In daily use, this protection reduces the risk of direct impacts to the hands and levers, both on long road rides and on offroad sections, and helps keep the controls operational after a fall.
