This KTM handguard kit is a competition-styled hand protection in an open version, designed for motocross and enduro riders seeking maximum weight savings without giving up protection for levers and hands.
Built from two-component plastic, it combines a black central section with maximum break resistance, offering optimal protection against impacts, with upper and lower sections made from a more flexible plastic, able to absorb the toughest terrain stresses without cracking. Mounting is done via a special fixing directly onto the controls, with no loose clamps, and the set carries HOMNN_EU approval.
The photo shows the light, open silhouette characteristic of this type of protection, entirely in black, with a matte surface and visible reinforcement ribs in the central area marking the transition between the two plastic hardnesses.
In use, it provides lightweight, durable defence for the hands against branches, stones and falls, preserving control feel at the controls thanks to the flexibility of its tips and the solidity of its central core.
