The KTM Quickshifter is an electronic function from the PowerParts range that allows clutchless up and down shifts, even with the transmission under load. It is designed for riders who want smoother gear changes without losing traction or having to release the throttle.
Its operation relies on the motorcycle's ride-by-wire system, which reads the riding style and adapts the shift response accordingly: quick and crisp when riding dynamically, and smoother and more progressive when the pace drops. It is not an added mechanical part, but a function activated on top of the electronics already fitted as standard.
The photograph shows the characteristic KTM PowerParts packaging, in the brand's white and orange colours, with the function name printed alongside the KTM logo and the product reference clearly visible on the box.
In everyday riding, this function translates into shorter shift times and smoother power delivery to the rear wheel, both when accelerating and when downshifting, with no jerks and no need to fully close the throttle.
