KTM Hill Hold Control (HHC) is a software function of the braking electronics that prevents the motorcycle from rolling back accidentally when stopped on an incline, useful for riders who regularly travel through hilly areas or in urban traffic on slopes. It is activated with an authorization code and integrated into the vehicle's electronic system.
The system automatically detects when the motorcycle is stopped on a slope and, in that case, keeps the brakes applied without rider input until the rider effectively pulls away, at which point it releases them.
The photo shows the bike's TFT instrument panel, with the electronic riding aid menu on screen, where this function is found and activated.
In everyday use it is especially helpful when pulling away on hills, at traffic lights on a slope or during slow maneuvers on sloped streets, holding the motorcycle in place without the rider having to hold the brake with hand or foot while releasing the clutch.
