The KTM Automatic Turn Indicator Reset, known as AITR, is an electronic system that automatically switches off the turn signal after a turn or an overtaking maneuver, preventing riders from carrying on with the indicator left on by mistake.

It is an activation requested through the authorization code generator of the XC2 tool, which the dealer then enters into the bike's ECU. The system automatically switches off the indicator once 150 m of travel and 10 seconds since activation have passed; if the bike stops during that time, the counter also pauses, so the indicator does not turn off while waiting at a junction or roundabout.

The photograph corresponds to the product card, with the KTM logo, the system name and the reference printed on it, the document used to process the order and the subsequent activation.

In everyday riding, this reset function adds safety and convenience by switching off the indicator at the right moment, without the rider having to remember to do it manually.
