Motor slip regulation, known as the MSR system, is an electronic function from the PowerParts range that works alongside the bike's MTC traction control. Its job is to manage engine drag torque in moments when it spikes, for example when downshifting abruptly or when releasing the throttle suddenly, situations in which the rear wheel tends to lose grip.
The system relies on ride-by-wire technology: as soon as it detects excess engine braking, it opens the throttle valve just enough to relieve that drag torque and keep the rear wheel rolling with stability. Thanks to its integration with the MSC lean-angle sensor, this regulation stays active in corners too, not only in a straight line. Activation of this function is managed through an authorization code requested via the XC2 tool, and it holds HOMNN_EU homologation.

In daily use, this regulation provides greater control over the bike under engine braking, especially during aggressive downshifts or sudden throttle closures, reducing the risk of the rear wheel locking up or sliding, both in a straight line and while leaning into a corner.
