The KTM Offroad Pack is an electronic activation for the braking system that reconfigures ABS behavior when riding off the asphalt, designed for riders who split their time between track, dirt roads and tarmac on the same bike.

It is a license requested through the authorization code generator of the XC2 tool, which the KTM dealer then activates in the ECU. With it, the ABS intervention range starts later than in road mode, the front wheel brake allows greater delay before intervening without losing stability, and the rear wheel is allowed to sink into the terrain more freely, improving braking power off-road. For it to remain permanently active on the bike, the corresponding dongle also needs to be installed.

The photograph shows the product identification card, with the KTM logo, the pack name and the printed reference, as supplied for redemption and activation at the dealer.

In use, this ABS setting allows riders to tackle trails and dirt roads with greater braking margin without the system intervening too early, adding extra confidence when riding off the asphalt.
