This KTM noise reduction insert is an internal spare part for the exhaust system, designed for those needing to restore the bike's original sound level when the silencer's absorbent packing has degraded through use and high temperatures.
It is a perforated cylindrical piece that houses the absorbent material responsible for dampening the noise of exhaust gases as they pass through the end cap, made from materials able to withstand the heat and vibration typical of this area of the bike.
In the photo, a tubular body can be seen with a surface perforated evenly along its entire length and a matte metal finish, with no decorative elements, typical of an internal part that is not visible once fitted inside the end cap.
Replacing this insert when worn restores the exhaust's original sound level, returning the unit to its factory acoustic behavior.
