The KTM Factory ignition cover seal is the sealing element fitted between the ignition cover and the engine case, a small but necessary part in any work carried out in this area of the engine, both for maintenance and on Factory-spec competition builds.
It is a flat gasket, cut to the exact outline of the ignition cover and with cutouts for the corresponding fixing points, so that when the screws are tightened it is compressed evenly across the whole contact surface, preventing oil leaks at that joint.
The image shows a thin, dark-coloured sheet, with a cut profile that follows the irregular contours of the ignition cover and several round holes matching the mounting screw holes.
As this component deforms slightly when the cover is tightened, it is recommended to replace it every time this area of the engine is dismantled, so that sealing is guaranteed after reassembly.

La entrega de motos se coordina directamente con el comercial durante la compra.
