This exhaust header, reference A46005907000 from the PowerParts range, is the metal section that collects the gases exiting the cylinders and directs them into the rest of the exhaust line. It is the part to replace when the original header shows dents, deformation or corrosion after prolonged use.
It is built from shaped and welded steel tubing, with the bends typical of a header that merges several inlets into a single outlet section. The flanges at both ends are machined for coupling with the cylinder head and with the next element of the exhaust line, with no chrome plating or paint, a common finish for parts that work at high temperatures.
The photo shows a curved tubular body, with visible weld seams at the joints between sections and a uniform steel-grey surface, with no added decorative treatment.
Once installed, this header restores the flow of exhaust gases while preserving the factory geometry and mounting points, without altering the rest of the exhaust line.
