The cylinder base gasket is a component from the PowerParts spares catalogue that is fitted between the crankcase and the engine cylinder, intended for anyone carrying out an engine strip-down on their KTM.
This gasket has a thickness of 0.15 mm, the thinnest within the range of thicknesses available for this same fitting point, allowing the fit between the crankcase and the cylinder to be fine-tuned to the maximum. It is identified with reference 50430035015.
The photograph shows a flat, circular gasket with the perforations corresponding to the internal passages and fixing points, made of a thin material with a smooth, even surface.
Due to its reduced thickness, it is useful for small precision adjustments when fitting the cylinder onto the crankcase.
