This upper triple clamp, also known as the steering plate, is a component from the KTM PowerParts range designed for those looking to reduce weight on the front end without giving up the stock look. It replaces the original steering plate and remains visible in the handlebar area.
It is made from high-strength aluminium, machined and finished with orange anodizing. This anodizing process gives the surface an elegant, uniform look while also offering protection against scratches and corrosion. The result is a steering plate lighter than the stock one, with EC-V approval.
The photo shows a robust, machined upper steering plate in an intense orange colour with a uniform anodized finish, with the holes for mounting the handlebar, steering column and fork tubes clearly machined and with rounded edges.
Fitted to the bike, it brings a weight reduction compared with the stock component and a distinctive aesthetic finish, while maintaining the structural function of holding the fork tubes and handlebar in place.
