This spare part is a spacer bushing, a small cylindrical component belonging to the chassis and suspension spares category within the KTM PowerParts catalogue. It is used as a separating element between other parts mounted on a shaft or bolt, preventing direct friction between surfaces and keeping the assembly correctly aligned.
Given its purpose, this type of bushing is typically made from a rigid material capable of withstanding clamping loads and vibration without deforming, with precise machining on its inner and outer diameter to fit exactly at the mounting point. The finish is simple and functional, with no decorative treatment, as it is a hidden part once installed.
The photo shows a tubular-shaped bushing, small in size and with a constant cross-section, with the matte metallic finish typical of a machined part. Its simple geometry, with no visible markings, corresponds to a precision component intended for a specific location within the assembly.
Once fitted in place, this spacer bushing performs a discreet but necessary task: it maintains the exact distance between components and helps the assembly work with the correct clearance, avoiding unwanted play or friction.
