The start button is the electrical control located on the handlebar switch block, used by the rider to engage the starter motor and fire up the bike.
It is a pushbutton mounted on a technical plastic housing, with an internal contact mechanism that closes the electrical circuit when pressed and opens it when released, integrated alongside the rest of the switches on the right-hand switchgear.
