The brake lever tip is the replacement part that protects and covers the end of the rear brake pedal, designed for riders who want to renew the feel and grip in the area that contacts the boot without replacing the entire pedal. It fits directly onto the original pedal, snapping into place over its end.
It is made from a fairly firm rubber compound, resistant to abrasion and the knocks typical of off-road use, with a ribbed surface that multiplies the contact points for the boot. Its hollow inner construction allows it to adapt to the metal profile of the stock pedal, staying firmly in place without the need for any extra tools.
The photo shows a matte black part, elongated and slightly curved in shape, with transverse ribbing running across the entire contact surface and the KTM logo molded into one of the sides.
In use, this tip provides more consistent grip for the boot, especially in rain or mud, and acts as a wear part that can be replaced once the original pedal texture has worn down through use.
