The heat protection disc is a part designed to sit between a fastener and an area subject to high temperatures, commonly found around the exhaust or other components close to heat sources on the motorcycle. It is a spare part aimed at those replacing bolts or fasteners in these areas who also need to renew this specific washer.
It is a circular metal part with a central hole for the bolt or stud to pass through, whose function is to spread the clamping load and act as a barrier against the direct transfer of heat to the fixing point.
