The 2-stroke exhaust guard is a PowerParts component designed for riders who want to preserve the look and integrity of their two-stroke motorcycle's expansion chamber against impacts from the terrain. It fits directly onto the exhaust, covering the area most exposed to impacts while riding.
It is made from high-quality carbon, a material that offers remarkable stiffness and strength while being up to 80% lighter than steel with equivalent strength capacity. Its structure barely expands with heat and withstands continuous high temperatures without corroding, guaranteeing a long service life even under intensive use. The finish is glossy and it carries HOMNN_EU approval. It must only be fitted together with the standard expansion chamber.
The photo shows a curved piece that follows the shape of the expansion chamber, with the characteristic carbon fiber weave visible beneath the glossy varnish layer, in black with grayish highlights depending on the light.
In everyday use it provides effective protection against falls, flying stones or branch strikes, reducing the risk of dents or punctures in the expansion chamber without adding unnecessary weight to the exhaust assembly.
