This KTM exhaust header, from the PowerParts range, is part of the FMF Megabomb system and is aimed at riders looking to improve their enduro or motocross bike's response without losing reliability under demanding use. It is the component that connects the engine to the silencer, replacing the original header pipe.
It is built from stainless steel, with a header line optimally matched to the stock engine, which maintains the original mounting geometry. It features an internal resonance chamber that contributes to more even torque distribution and to noise reduction. The exterior finish is of the highest quality, in line with the rest of the parts in the FMF range.
In the photo, the curved steel pipe can be seen with a metallic silver finish, the visible welds at the joints between sections, and the characteristic bulge of the resonance chamber built into the header.
Fitted to the bike, it delivers a noticeable power increase across the entire rev range, thanks to the line matched to the stock engine combined with the resonance chamber, which improves torque distribution.
