This side stand foot extension, from the PowerParts range for KTM, increases the contact area of the standard side stand and is especially useful when parking on soft surfaces such as sand or loose dirt.
It is made from anodized aluminium, a treatment that protects the surface against wear and exposure to the elements. It fits onto the base of the original side stand, enlarging the contact point with the ground to better distribute the weight of the motorcycle.
The photo shows an anodized aluminium part, wide and flat in shape, designed to fit directly under the base of the stand without altering how it works.
This extension reduces the risk of the stand sinking into loose ground, offering more secure support for the bike when parking on sand, gravel or soft dirt.
