The KTM Adaptive Brake Light is an active safety electronic function that reinforces the bike's visibility to traffic behind during hard braking situations.
According to the manufacturer's description, high-level electronics detect emergency braking based on the speed and deceleration values recorded by the bike. When it identifies such braking, the brake light flashes intermittently until the brake is released, since a flashing light is perceived more quickly than a steady one, delivering a meaningful safety gain and reducing the risk of rear-end collisions.

In use, this function activates automatically during hard braking, without the rider needing to switch it on, providing an extra warning to vehicles following behind in traffic.
