This silencer cap is the end piece of the silencer through which combustion gases exit, visible at the rear of the bike and one of the most exposed elements in the whole exhaust system. It belongs to KTM's exhaust spares range, in line with the noise reduction insert and the other components of the same silencer.
It is a part that fits onto the end of the silencer body, through which the gases already treated by the inner noise reduction insert flow, shaping the exhaust outlet and defining the final finish of the assembly.
In the photo you can make out a cylindrical cap with a dark-toned metallic finish and a smooth surface, with no decorative elements or chrome, and a well-defined outlet profile at the edge.
As a replacement part, this cap allows you to renew the end of the exhaust when it shows dents, heat discolouration or wear, restoring the assembly's original look and outlet geometry.
