This KTM shock spring is the part responsible for supporting and regulating the compression of the rear shock absorber, a replacement component designed for those who need to replace the original spring due to wear or adjust their bike's preload to their weight and riding style.
It is a coil spring made from spring steel wire, wound with a constant and uniform pitch along its entire body. The ends are ground flat, so the spring seats correctly on the shock's spring seats without creating irregular contact points.
