This KTM shock spring is the part that sits on the body of the rear shock absorber to support the motorcycle's weight and regulate its preload, a replacement part within the PowerParts range intended for replacement or adjustment.
It is designed for use exclusively together with PRO COMPONENTS products, so its spring rate and dimensions are calculated to work in conjunction with that shock system and not with other shock bodies.
The photograph shows a cylindrical coil spring with evenly pitched coils and a metallic finish, with flat ends for correct seating on the shock's spring seats.
Fitting it allows the preload of the rear shock to be adjusted within the PRO COMPONENTS system, maintaining consistent suspension behaviour during use of the bike.
