This KTM ratchet wheel spring is a small component of the kickstart mechanism, within the engine spare parts category, intended for those repairing the starting system when the ratchet stops engaging properly or loses its travel.
It is a metal coil spring whose function is to push the ratchet wheel against its teeth to keep it engaged while the kickstart lever is being operated, then releasing it to allow the mechanism to return.
