This magnetic drain bolt is the long version, at 95 mm, designed for drain points where the thickness of the sump or the depth of the housing calls for a longer thread length. It is part of KTM's engine spares and is the part replaced when servicing the oil.
It is an M6 metric bolt, 95 mm long, with an ISA30 head imprint and a built-in magnet at the end that sits in contact with the oil in the sump. That magnet attracts the filings and metal particles released by internal engine friction, holding them at the bolt head instead of letting them circulate through the lubrication system.
In the photo you can see a long, slender bolt body with visible thread along its entire length, a head with the ISA30 imprint marked on it, and a uniform metallic finish with no signs of use.
Thanks to its extra length, this bolt reaches the bottom of the drain housing with the correct torque, and the magnet at the tip provides extra oil cleanliness at every change, reducing metal particles in suspension.
